Sadika Parvin Popy was born on 10 September 1979 in Dumoria, Khulna, Bangladesh. She is a Bangladeshi film Actress,  Model, Director, & Television personality. She is one of the most successful actress in film Industry of Bangladesh. She is better known as Popy in the film world. Popy made her debut in the film world  as Actress with Film “Coolie” directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar in 1997. Popy made her debut in the film world  as Director with Film “Bathir Rani Suria”. Popy was the first act in the film world opposite Omar Sunny in film “Collie” in 1997. She won the first National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in "Karagar" directed by Kamal Kaysar in 2003.
